Happy Sunday dolls. I hope you’re all settling into this crazy September we’re having here in the UK. I am one of those individuals who loves changing up the colour of their hair no matter what month or season we’re in. I couple of months back I was contacted by the lovely team from Daniel Galvin* to review their salon. My hair was in some serious need of TLC so I took this great opportunity up. Behold my new(ish) hair…
I had some extra highlights and semi-ombre hair put back into my locks. I had actually dyed my hair all one colour so this was quite a big change for me. I have to say that when I normally get my hair coloured lighter it can tend to go quite gingery very easily – this is one of the down sides of having Indian/very dark hair. However, I have never EVER been so pleased with the outcome of the colour – it’s the perfect shade of caramels, blondes and light browns I could have asked for.
Now, onto the Daniel Galvin salon. This beautiful salon is based in the centre of London on George Street. It is two levels of hair goodness. Downstairs you have the hair stylists where your hair is cut including a bar with some yummy fresh fruit juices and even cocktails! Upstairs being where the colourists are stationed. I love how a lot of the bigger salons tend to cut your hair first, then colour ensuring that you have the richest shades of colours in your final look.
Daniel Galvin is a top hair colourist who has also worked on many famous faces! This explains the layout of the salon as the colouring stations are upstairs on the top floor, for everyone to see his hair stylists working their magic 🙂
I absolutely loved my experience at the Daniel Galvin salon. Saying that, you will be expected to pay London and celebrity prices. But I would definitely be going back – most probably when I get married in the future! However, if you don’t mind spending a couple of £100 on a colour, cut and blow dry I would definitely recommend going here. You will feel very safe in the hands of the hair stylists. They listen to what you want and they really know how colour works in hair 🙂
