If you’re a regular over on my YouTube channel or have seen my January favourites video, you will know I mentioned a particular palette within that video that I am obsessed with. Not only the palette itself, but the quality of every eyeshadow that I have tried by this particular brand – which I personally think doesn’t get enough praise in the online world of beauty. I’m talking about none other than the Zoeva eyeshadow palettes, & in particular the Zoeva Mixed Metals palette.
Zoeva is better known for their makeup brushes, which I personally LOVE, however they have a selection of makeup as well(!). This was my first introduction to the Zoeva eyeshadow palettes and I was blown away at the first use. And let me tell you something, that doesn’t happen very often (unless it’s my beloved Urban Decay or Too Faced palettes).
Okay, let’s get the elephant out of the room first. This palettes doesn’t come with a mirror or a brush within the packaging, like many, many palettes out there. But let’s be honest, who really uses the brush it comes with and the awkward mirror? And for €17.50, who is going to complain, right? I sure am not complaining ♥ It’s light enough to travel with & I haven’t had any complaints so far since taking this across the big blue sea to India and back.
The Zoeva Mixted Metals palette has all but one (Onyx), stunning shimmery eyeshadow shades. Surprisingly you are able to create a heck of a lot of looks with these colours. Daring at first glance, but absolutely stunning when swatched and applied to the eyes. BEAU-TI-FUL, I say.
The pigmentation is second to none. The black isn’t the blackest, black but all the shimmery shades are incredibly pigmented and equally as gorgeous. I don’t believe there is a single colour in this palette that I wouldn’t wear. It’s a total winner in my books.
Do I want to get my hands on the other palettes? The answer to that question is a capital HELL YES!
The Zoeva Mixed Metals Palette is €17.50 & available HERE.
