The-Body-Shop-Smokey-Poppy-Review-02

If you know me, you’ll know that I love me some Body Shop goodies. I feel like their launches seem to get better and better! But their recent launch of the recent Body Shop Smoky Poppy range has had me so excited, maybe even more than ever – did I just say that? Oh yes I did!

I was really intrigued to try this as for starters, the packaging just lured me right in. I’m drawn to things which are packaged in black. I’m not sure why but it makes the product look and feel so strong and beautiful ♥ Product wise, the entire body care range comes with 7 products – the poppy seed scrub, body butter, shower gel, body lotion, bath bombs, massage oil and eau de toilette. The bath bombs in particular had me feeling like a jelly bean and wishing I could have a bath installed into my bathroom!

I can’t quite put my finger on the scent. There’s something sweet, musky and sexy about it. I don’t think I’ve ever smelt a poppy before but my gosh, this smells incred! I’m sold simply on the scent. I don’t know what it is but over the past year or two, my taste in scents have changed, a heck of a lot. Nowadays I’m more drawn to deeper scents (but still love a good sweet and fruity one too!).

My favourites out of the range have to be the body butter, scrub and massage oil. The body butter is a given; The Body Shop have the best range of them, no one does it like they do. The scrub on the other hand has real poppy seeds in it to give that super exfoliation your body needs. It’s been years since I’ve started using one of their scrubs! And last but not least, the massage oil. WOW – it’s simply perfect for Valentine’s day coming up next week.

Overall, if you’re into deep, musky scents you need to head over to The Body Shop, like now! Because remember, it’s limited edition. Have you tried anything from this range yet? If so, what are your favourites?
