It always gives you the chance to wear all your pretty clothes & of course getting your Indian face on! Here’s my face of the day from the wedding itself… This was at the end of the day so things like my eye liner had disappeared. But here it is none the less!

I don’t know if you’ve guessed but I love MIXING lip colours to make my own unique shade to match my mood or outfit Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend. I’ve got so many blog posts planned so do keep an eye out for them!
Evening my beauties! I’ve been very bust this week with a wedding & have been reaching for my Tangle Teezer so much that I thought I’d have to do a post on it to share it with you! I got mine about 6 months ago & have been using it ever since… It’s truly the hair brush of all hair brushes!
It’s basically a plastic hair brush (without a handle but super easy to use) which takes out ALL the knots in your hair with such ease & is virtually pain free. As you can see, the ‘teeth’ on the Tangle Teezer are fairly short, but there are lots of them! It doesn’t hurt at all & it fits perfectly into my hands. I’ve noticed that my hairdressers even use these now. As you may or may not know, I have SUPER thick hair & this works a treat on me – it saves me a lot of pain & not to mention time. I’ve had some of my family & friends try it also & they can’t believe just how brilliant it is!
Have you ever tried a Tangle Teezer? What do you think of it?
P.S – I love how my nail polish (ORLY’s Beach Cruiser) matches my TT – bright fluorescent pink!
Afternoon my lovelies! YAY to this gorgeous weather we’re having in the UK this weekend – let’s hope it stays for longer than a week *fingers crossed*. As soon as the weather turns sunny it gives me more of an excuse to bust out my bright & neon polishes. I painted my nails yesterday to compliment the weather & it’s none other than ORLY’s Beach Cruiser!
RRP: £5 for 5.3ml or £7.50 for 18ml from Beauty Bay.
I’ve just checked to find that this colour if sold out in most online stores apart from the Mini Trio from Boots.com for £13! It’s beautiful NEON pink – literally I’m talking highlighter pink! If you’re a fan of neons & pinks this is one colour to have in your collection
I’ve also been wearing this on my toes for over a month now & I love how it makes me think of being on holiday – bliss! These pictures really don’t do the polish any justice though. If you know me you’ll know that I love the quality of ORLY polishes. This was with two coats & it gives you a great finish.
What have you been wearing on your nails this weekend, dolls?
P.S – use a white polish as a base before applying neon/bright colours to make them POP!
Evening doll faces. I hope you’re all good. Who’s excited about this so called heat wave which is heading our way to the UK next week? I sure am & it better be worth it!
Last night after work I checked Twitter to see that a lot of people were talking about the ‘Cosmo Blog Awards‘. I thought I’d hlove a look to see who was nominated this year & to my biggest surprised my blog is one of them!!
I’ve been nominated for the ‘Best Established Beauty Blogger‘ category! I am still so shocked as to being nominated, I have no idea how I got there! I can’t believe I’m up there with some huge beauty blogs, it’s so surreal!
I know these awards are like marmite & not every one will click through to actually vote but I’d appreciate it beyond words itself if you’re able to spare a few seconds on your time… All you have to do is click on the image below & pick for your favourite bloggers, it’s super simple.
I’d just like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported & read by blog throughout the years… Without you guys I wouldnt be where I am today. You’re all superstars Big love to you all! I hope you all have a lovely evening! I’m off to bed now. Goodnight chick peas!
Happy Sunday ladies! How are you all? Hope you’ve had a good week. Mines been hectic as usual but things should be calming down real soon & you’ll be seeing a lot of me on here, Twitter, Instagram & Facebook – yipee!! This post is something which has been in the pipelines for AGES & the lighting wasn’t too great this evening for me to go swatch crazy so I thought I’d show you how I’m currently storing my disgusting amounts of makeup! It’s pretty self explanatory so I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking…
Muji 2 Acrylic Drawers (stacked) – £10.95 available from HERE.
Muji Acrylic Desk Pot (for my brushes) – £5.50 available from HERE.
I thought I’d add how I organise my jewellery in here too as it’s all in my vanity area. The ring holder is something which I made by hand with things I had at home. You can see a step-by-step DIY post HERE.
I try to use & recycle a lot of my old boxes/lids/pots from various things (perfume sets, candle holders, old jewellery holders etc.) to organise everything. I like everything to have a specific place! You don’t need to spend a lot of money on things to help you organise. However, I do love my Muji acrylic storage bits. I love that they’re clear & I can see exactly where things are.
How do you lovelies organise your things? If you have any tips/tricks please leave them below – I’d love to know!
P.S – Muji are releasing KARDASHIAN style wider & slighter bigger acrylic storage drawers which are going to be available in-store & online in August which I’m dying to get my hands on! It’s a 5 drawer unit for around £25 – a bargain if you ask me AND they’re limited edition too, eeek! Anyone else with putting that on their wishlist?
Happy Sunday chick peas! How are you all doing? This time last week I met up with some of the girls for a sneaky little shopping trip to the Bull Ring. Alisha (from UnLeeshd) & I thought we’d see if the new Le Teint Touche Éclat foundation by YSL was out & to our surprise it had launched into Selfridges on that exact day… We took this as a sign & snapped a bottle up each. I’ve been using it for a week now & I think it’s time to review the Touch Éclat foundation!
YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat foundation – £28 (currently exclusive to Selfridges HERE)
Personally, I thought the foundation would have been around £35-40 so price range is spot in comparison to other foundations. The packaging is GORGEOUS! A thick glass bottle & with the iconic gold accents on the lid & pump.
Which brings me onto the pump! I’m SO glad that this comes with a pump. I have actually disliked foundations in the past purely because of the lack of pump! The foundation is available in 22 different shades, & they’re divded into 3 categories; Rosy Beige (BR), Golden Beige (BD) & Natural Beige (B) – I am shade BD50. There should be a shade to suite all skin tones
It’s a GEL based foundation & free from opaque powders, not to mention that it’s also got LIQUID GOLD in the formula! All these properties gives you a truly ILLUMINATING glow to the skin! Because it’s gel based it feels thick but when buffed out into the skin, it’s light as a feather. It also smells like watermelon – LOVE!
As you can see from the picture above, it really is ILLUMINATING. It almost makes your skin look like its illuminating from within I’d say that it’s light (but buildable) to medium coverage. It’s super natural looking. If you like full coverage, this foundation isn’t for you. If you want something light that blurs out imperfections & illuminates your skin, this has your name written all over it!!
It’s the perfect ‘my skin but better’ foundation! It doesn’t last all day & does feel slightly oily towards the end of the day, but that tends to happen to me with gel based foundations. Overall, I absolutely LOVE this foundation & would totally recommend it to everyone! It evens out your skin & gives you a beautiful glow in just 2 pumps! Great timing for release as I know I’ll be wearing this all through summer.
Will you be getting your hands on the Touche Éclat foundation?! Are you a fan of YSL beauty products? I sure am!! I really want to get my hands on the YSL BB cream next
