NOTD: Preamp & Meteor Shower

Evening doll faces! How are you all doing in this weird tropical weather? I swear I’ve just felt sticky all day long! Enough of this & bring on the real sun & summer I say! I’ve just painting my nails with a ‘RING FINGER MANICURE‘. I love doing these as the combinations & designs are endless & it’s a great alternative to nail art!

ORLY – Preamp £7.50 available HERE
Meteor Shower – American Apparel £9 available HERE

How pretty does this swatch look?! It’s not too in your face but the perfect POP of colour to brighten up this gloomy weather!

If you know me you’ll know just how much I love ORLY polishes. They are totally worth the money as it’s the biggest polish bottle in town! Also, their quality is second to none. I have +50 ORLY polishes – my collection just seems to get bigger & bigger!

PREAMP‘ is from their new ‘ELECTRONICA‘ collection. It’s such a pretty pink, with sligh blue/purple & gold undertones. My mum even loves this colour! With 2 coats, you get perfect coverage. It’s a very unusual shade of pink which is something for the pink lovers out there for sure! ‘METEOR SHOWER‘ just brings the whole manicure together – the flakes in it are mesmerising!

Here’s a close up Meteor Shower. How pretty do the flakes of gold look?! When I saw this in Selfridges, I couldn’t walk past it!! I’ve been wearing this with lots of polishes & have to say, it’s brought back my love for glitter top coats!

Have you got your eye on anything from ORLY? Have you tried any ring finger manicures?

TK Maxx Beauty Bargains!

Evenin’ ladies. This post has been waiting to get published for a while now & have only managed to get it up now! I do sometimes wish I was back at school/college/uni… Being an adult means less & less time for yourself! Any who, I thought I’d share something with you lovelies. I don’t know whether you’ve been into a TK MAXX or HOME SENSE recently but they’ve started to stock some great beauty brands! A fair few weeks ago, I popped in there just to have a snoop (as you do) & ended up leaving with some GREAT BARGAINS.

Korres Body Butter £6.99 (RRP: £11.50)
Bed Head Shampoo £9.99 (RRP: £19.95)
Nip+Fab Cellulite Fix £6.99 (RRP: 18.25)

TOTAL SAVING OF
25.73 !!!

I actually cannot believe I saved over £25 on these. I absolutely love Korres. I think it’s such a nice & refreshing feeling knowing that if with jam packed with 25% natural ingredients, with recyclable packaging, no parabens, no mineral oils, no alcohol (along with many other things!) & it’s something which is suitable for us vegetarians & vegans. I’ve been using this a lot recently, I LOVE the smell of it. They now come with a pump… But I prefer this (it doesn’t get all slide-y & difficult to use).

I’ve used Bed Head products for years now. Whether it’s a styling, heat protecting or cleaning(?) product. I’ve always got something on the go. I haven’t actually opened this up yet but will do when my current shampoo is finished. I’m sure it’ll be fabulous for my mega-thick hair :D

Last but not least, I picked up (what seemed to be the last) Nip+Fab Cellulite Fix. I have used this a handful of times but need to use it on a regular basis to see real results. I love that it’s a gel. It’s very different from my usual [ comfort zone ] Body Strategist which is an AMAZING product might I add. So, this Nip+Fab cellulite gel has a heck of a lot to live up to. Will let you know if I notice any difference & if it’s worth the buy or if you need the [ comfort zone ] Body Strategist in your life instead ;)

Have you picked up any bargains recently? I’d love to know what brands your TK Maxx/Home Sense have been stocking :)

My current favourites.

Evening ladies! How depressing is the weather in the UK?! From that beautiful sunny, summery weather to a damn monsoon of some sort! I really hope it cheers up… I find people are happier when the sun’s out – I like that, I like that a lot. Anyone with me!?

Because I’ve been super busy I thought I’d share some more products I’ve been loving during the past few weeks. I’ve got a selection of make-up & skincare products to share with you all today… Let me get stuck into it!

Mango Body Mist by The Body Shop* £7 available HERE – I’ve been addicted to this for the past week or two. I remember using these body mists when I was younger. I used to save up to get them & take them into school, ah the memories! They’re back, bigger & better than before. I’m a big fan of fruity & sweet scents & this one’s perfect. I love getting out of the shower & spritzing myself up. Smells DEEE-LICIOUS too! I’ve currently got my eye on the strawberry one. I think these would be perfect for holidays, however they are made of glass so be careful! Well, for £7, you can’t really go wrong.

Golden Gaze by MAC (Limited Edition) – I banged on about this eye shadow last year when I got it & again I can’t get enough of it. I’ve been to quite a few weddings recently & this is one colour that I always go for when wearing Indian clothes. It compliments them clothes BRILLIANTLY. Every girl needs a bronze-gold-shimmery eye shadow for their indian party look!

Lily Cole Liquid Liner by The Body Shop* £9 available HERE – I’m not sure whether you know, but Lily Cole is the first ambassador for The Body Shop & they’ve collectively launched a really fun & summery collection. I’ve got a couple of other products from the range which I will review for your shortly :) As you probably know, I’m a BIG fan of different coloured eye liner & this is a gorgeous matte, shimmery, indigo-purple! Fits in perfectly with my collection. I’ve not got a colour like it, not to mention that it applies like a dream!

Peaches & Cream blush by VIVO Cosmetics £4 available HERE – I’m a huge fan of VIVO blushers. I’ve been using their ‘Rouge Shimmer’ baked blush almost every day since I got it so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this coral number. I was going to re-purchase the e.l.f ‘Candid Coral’ blush but decided I get more product in this for an extra 15p – I’d be a fool to let this one go. All in all, it gives me a lovely CORAL GLOW for summer.

Albatross by NARS £20.50 available HERE – I’ve been wanting to get my hands on Albatross for ages. Without swatching it on me, before hand, I splurged (as usual!). All I’ve got to say is that I absolutely love it! It definitely has become one of my favourites from my last highlighter post HERE. It’s an incredibly pigmented, iridescent, gold powder & although it’s over £20, it will last you a very long time. Did I mention it looks absolutely STUNNING on? Have a peek below…

e.l.f Eyebrow Kit (Dark) £3.75 available HERE – I’ve had this for ages but rarely seem to crack it open… until recently! My brows have become a little thicker (yes, I’m trying to grow them, ever so slightly!) & this product is just the ICING ON THE CAKE. Because of the wax & powder combo, there’s no need for applying a brow gel. Which basically means, getting ready in the morning for work couldn’t be any easier ;)

Anti-ageing Moisturiser by Purity Organic Skincare* £7.99 available HERE – I’ve been using this as a day cream for about a month now & my oh my! It has a balm like consistency & leaves my skin incredibly soft & nourished. I like knowing that the product itself is organic & therefore GREAT for my skin! My tinted moisturisers/foundations glide on so well with this as a base. My only downside with this is that it doesn’t have an SPF :( However, most (if not all) of my tinted moisturisers/BB cream/foundations come with an SPF so I’m safe! This range has got some great products which I’m sure you’ll hear about at some point on my blog :) Would I recommend this? Hell-to-the-yes. Will I be buying this once I finish it? YES!! P.S – its night cream is just as good!

What products have you been loving recently? I’d love to know any new/exciting products you’ve got your eyes on!

*Products were sent to me, however these are my 100% honest opinions, as always!

P.S – I’ve also been LOVING Instagram!! You can find me Instagramming away on @kaushal_ … See you doll faces there :)

Currently loving… Illamasqua.

Evenin’ ladies. How have you all been doing? I’ve gotta admit, I’ve been a very, very bad blogger recently. I’ve been swamped at work which has made me really lazy when I get home to blog. I will get it sorted, I must! I’m just recovering from a flu & wedding season which has just kicked off – I feel like I’m back in form (minus the occasional coughing fits!). I thought I’d share with you all a  quick post on what my lips have been loving recently.

Illamasqua Lipsticks – £15.50 available from HERE.

At £15.50 a pop, these Illamasqua lipsticks are a must have for any lipstick lovers out there. They are very pigmented & have a matte finish. Eurydice & Liable are two new shades which have become firm favourites of mine. LIABLE has some orange undertones in it which gives a nice twist to a bright red lipstick! I’m actually wearing it in my header picture ;) EURYDICE is such a lovely bright fuchsia pink (I will never have enough pink lipsticks in my collection!). I find that the Illamasqua lipsticks can be drying so prepping your lips (with my favourite, Carmex) is a must along with a gloss on top, if you need/like.

I think I’ve worn Brink the most as it’s perfect for everyday wear. It’s a colour which has been in the collection for a while now. I LOVE mixing it with my peach/coral Clarins Lip Perfector, as you can see below… Perfect lipstick for summer!

Sorry for the really short post. I’ll do be doing a post on products which I’ve been recently loving in the next few days so keep an eye out for it :)

I’m always tweeting away so if you’re on Twitter come & give me a follow on @BeautyFulfilled

Have you guys tried Illamasqua lipsticks? What are your favourite colours?
