Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki Brush

By | May 19, 2012

Evening beautiful ladies. I thought I’d share my favourite foundation brush. It’s the SIGMA F80 FLAT KABUKI. I’m a big fan of Sigma brushes as they are very affordable & of good quality!

RRP: £14.99 from HERE.

In a nutshell, this brush has replaced my MAC 187 completely. The F80 is super soft yet densely packed, synthetic brush fibres, enough to give you a FLAWLESS FINISH! I think from the pictures you can sense just what I mean!

It doesn’t malt much which is ideal, as the MAC 187 used to leave me with random brush hairs on my face, not a good look! I think one thing I’ve noticed is that if I forget to wash it regularly, I have began to break out. Cleaning brushes is a MUST! It’s the perfect environment for bacteria to live in. Saying that, I get a lovely foundation finish using this brush. It’s become a firm favourite…

Hmmm… I do secretly want a ‘Beauty Blender’ sponge in my life, still!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, dolls. I’m off to make myself some dinner in time for The Voice!

May not be shaped like an egg – but is EXACTLY like the beautyblender – just for a fraction of the price ;)
It becomes bigger when you run it under water and gives you a flawless finish, plus you get a choice of pink or black :) xx

Ooooh, thanks so much for sending me the link! Looks like the Cosmopolitan foundation sponge! I may have to treat myself soon ;) x

  • Siri

Have you tried the real techniques buffing brush?

    • Kaushal

I have, however, I had already had this when the real technique brushes came out, booo! It’s definitely on my wishlist x

I love this brush! Makes my skin look flawless!

Btw, how do you wash your brushes. I’ve tried the olive oil+washing liquid and it works well, but I just want to know about other alternatives?

Thanks. I love reading your posts xxx

    • Kaushal

Hi hun, thanks! That’s what I use to wash mine. I make like round motions on my palm with the olive oil and washing liquid/shampoo on to get all the gunk off! It’s the best way to do it (and cheaper too!) x

I have this brush but in the travel retractable version and love it!
I also bought the Sigmax brushes last year and love them! I have the F84 and the F82 I use the F82 for cream blush, and the F84 is great for foundation. I also use the e.l.f powder brush but really want to buy the Real Techniques brushes! x

    • Kaushal

Ooooh, I really need to try some of the newer Sigma brushes. Also, I’ve heard good things about the e.l.f brushes must have a little look  x
