Hi dolls. Happy Sunday to you all! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend. I’m baby sitting my gorgeous nephew & niece. After lots of playing & not to mention combing, plaiting & generally ‘doing up’ my hair, they’re both busy playing with their DS & I thought I’d get a blog post up.
I love ditching the black smokey eye & opting for different colours – my recent favourite being the BROWN smokey eye. I haven’t done a FOTD in what seems like forever! So… Here’s how I create my brown smokey eye (please ignore the funny face in the picture below!)…
MAC Face & Body Foundation
Skin Glow by Topshop
MAC Studio Fix Powder
Garnier Tinted Roll-On as concealer
Polished by Topshop as a highlighter
Ninotchka by NARS as contour
Ice Pop i-glow blush by New CID Cosmetics
Pillow Talk by Topshop
Primer Potion by Urban Decay as a base
Wasteland 24/7 Glide On Shadow Pencil by Urban Decay all over the lid
Showstopper eye shadow by MAC all over the lid & smoked out
Great Lash mascara (3-4 thin coats – that’s how I find it works best. Otherwise, I find it CRAP!) by Maybelline

Polished by Topshop to highlight.
I love playing around with different coloured smokey eyes. From browns, blues, blacks to even purples & greens! Its a great going out look that’s for sure Have you tried any different coloured smokey eyes?

Hi dolls. How are you all? I hope you had a lovely weekend. I’m really not liking this whole getting dark early thing, super annoying. I’m such a summer person that this kind of weather makes me grumpy!
Any ways, I thought I’d share my iPad & iPhone ACCESSORIES with you as these two girly gadgets… I cannot live without! They are a part of my day-to-day life.
My iPad 2 was my birthday present (thank you, my gorgeous boy for getting me it!) & I absolutely love it. Next time you’re at an Apple store I’d highly recommend you to have a little play with it! I do almost everything on it – I even watch TV on it!! My iPhone was a present to myself I had been looking for cases for ages & I finally made my mind up.
Marc by Marc Jacobs iPad Case
RRP: £35 (I can’t remember but they don’t have it on the Selfridges website any more HERE)
I wanted something not too bright but minimal so I opted for this. I wasn’t too expensive for a designer iPad case which was another thing that drew me close to it. It was the first time I had ordered from the Selfridges website & it was very fast – KUDOS to you guys! They had the same case on Net-A-Porter but it was cheaper on there which is why I used them. However, you may find something similar on N-A-P or another website.
At first I thought it make not fit the iPad 2 style very well but it’s absolutely fine. It’s lined with a soft, velour, fluffy material. I secretly want to live in it
iPhone Case from DS Styles
RRP: $24.04 (I paid around £15 for it) HERE.
Next is an iPhone case. I quite like changing my cases which is one reason why I knew I didn’t want to spend an arm & a leg on it. It’s a fairly good quality cover. It’s SUPER sparkly which is something I was looking for & it fits perfectly. Not too tight & definitely not too loose. I’ve lost a couple of the sparkles but nothing noticeable.
There is just one thing I don’t like about it. Whenever I use the flash on the phone, with the case, at times it causes a white BLURRY area along the bottom of the taken photograph. Which must be a reflection of of case itself – talk about annoying! Luckily it only happens at night or in dark lighting.
I’ve been using these both for the past 2 months & overall I’m happy I got them! What kind of iPhone or iPad accessories do you use? Are there any websites that I may have missed? Knowing me, next year I will want a change of scenery in my iLife!
