Since I’ve been gone.

Hi dolls!! Long time no speak, no?? I’ve missed blogging so, SO much!! As you may (or possibly, may not) know I’ve been super busy for the past month with wedding stuff which meant blogging took a back seat. So, before I bombard you with pictures of the wedding & what not, I thought I’d do a little chit chat post about products that I’ve been loving since I’ve been gone…

Here they are! There’s quite a lot of CHEEK products, I’ve been hitting the good ol’ blush/cheek tints a lot for the past month or so :)

TINTED EYE ROLL-ON by GARNIER £9.99 – this has been my day-to-day concealer for over a year now. It totally makes me look AWAKE every morning when I’m off to work or going anywhere. It’s a great pick me up. Mine lasted almost a year before I had to get a new one so for the price, it’s well worth it!

ILLUMINATING TOUCH by COLLECTION 2000 £4.99 – I got this a few weeks back (again, for the wedding) as I’ve always wanted a concealer that BRIGHTENS the skin under my eyes & it does exactly that! This is going to be a staple item in my make-up bag. It doesn’t break the bank either!

GOLDEN GAZE by MAC £16 – I got this eye shadow especially for the wedding. It’s a GREAT alternative to a smoky eye! It’s super pigmented & love that it’s two toned too :) It’s expensive, but it’s limited edition & you get more product in it than their normal eye shadows.

Here they all are BLENDED!

Now it’s time to get onto the cheeks :)

BAKED BRONZER by URBAN DECAY £20 – I don’t really use a lot of bronzer but this has been my go to product to give my face an extra GLOW. I usually brush some on my nose, forehead & chin or simply on my cheeks when I’m in a rush. There are also some days when I use it as a highlighter too!

HOOLA by BENEFIT £23.50 – I have no idea what I did with my life without this!! I use this to contour & have literally forgotten about my sleek contour kit! It’s again one of the products I’ve been using on a daily basis. There are days where I’ll use this to contour my cheeks without anything else. It’s perfect & best of all… MATTE!

CANDID CORAL by ELF £3.50 – This has become my favourite blush for the past few months. It’s got lovely gold undertones to it which is perfect for summer. The days when I want more oomph on my cheeks, I tend to use BELLA BAMBA.

I’m sure you’ve seen LOTS of posts like this when Glamour had their Benefit reader offer which is when I got some more High Beam & Posie Tint… But another favourite has become my Cha Cha Tint!

CHA CHA TINT by BENEFIT £24.50 – Gorgeous, GORGOUES peachy, coral tint for your cheeks & lips. I LOVE wearing this with my Vegas Volt MAC lip stick.

POSIE TINT by BENEFIT £24.50 (for full size bottle) – When I’m not wearing Candid Coral I’ll automatically pick up my Posie Tint. It give you a GLOWY tint of pink on your cheeks. You can always layer both tints to give your cheeks more colour.

HIGH BEAM by BENEFIT £24.50 (for full size bottle) – I wasn’t the biggest fan of high lighters but every time I’m going out for something, I always tend to put it on to give my face some DIMENSION. I’ll be getting full sized products of High Beam & Posie tint when these are finished, that’s for sure :)

Last but not least I’ve got these…

ORLY FLASH DRY DROPS £10.50I usually paint my nails at random times at night & can’t wait for them to dry. So these flash dry drops came to my rescue! They work wonders!! I’ve tried Sephora and OPI ones but these are way better. I wait about a minute after painting my nails & put one drop of this onto each nail & HEY PRESTO! I’m ready for bed :)

ORLY CUTICLE OIL+ £11.50This sits on my desk at work. I use it EVERYDAY, religiously!! It smells like cola cubes & leaves my cuticles feeling lovely & hydrated :)

CHERRY CARMEX POT £2.69I can’t leave the house, nor can my bag live without Carmex. This flavour is totally yummy! I’m loving that it’s also got an SPF 15 in it… I’ve become an SPF freak recently… Everything I use as a base MUST have an SPF. Carmex overall works like a charm. Hydrates, protects and leaves my lips feeling super soft :)

What products have you all been loving since I’ve been gone? I’d love to know :)

P.S – You may have noticed a brand spanking NEW Benefit Mascara in the post… I’ll be doing a review of it very soon… It’s one word; UNBELIEVABLE!

… And… Relax…

Hi dolls. I thought I’d quickly share with you what I seem to grab every night before hitting the sack. I used to find sleeping very difficult (especially during & after uni – you know how it is!). Any how, I have recently been introduced to [ comfort zone ]‘s Tranquillity Oil. Those of you that don’t know what [ comfort zone ] is well… It’s a luxury Italian skincare brand, it’s truly amazing & everything smells SO good!

[ comfort zone ] Tranquillity Oil Blend

This is an indulging aromatic relaxing oil blend – it gets me ready, relaxed & sleepy in no time :) It’s jam-packed with loads of essential oils; rosewood, cedar, palmarosa, orange, rose & vanilla. I’m not a big fan of vanilla at all & you can’t smell it much in this. It’s sort of a musky yet cirtus-y smell. This blend aids in the well-being of your MIND & BODY. The world out there is saturated with so many scents but this is really something that I’ve never smelt before!

[ comfort zone ] Tranquillity Oil Blend

I put this on my wrists & neck… & then I just RELAX :) You need the tiniest bit as well, which means it’ll last longer too!

[ comfort zone ] Tranquillity Oil Blend

You can grab a bottle of this HERE. It retails at around £50 for a 50ml bottle but it lasts forEVER! This goes everywhere I travel too :) I love the packaging!

I’ve just popped some on & am ready to get my beauty sleep ;) Until next time dolls faces…

P.S – I sometimes even use this as a perfume!

Summer Haulin’… Happened so fast.

Hi my bellas! I thought I’d do a haul post about all the bits I got over the weekend. I visited Lakeside mall for the first time & it reminded me so much of the American malls – it even had a Taco Bell. If you know me then you know how much I LOVE Mexican food… & yes, I did stuff my face! I didn’t intend on buying much at all… But it all sort of just… Happened? Here are most of the bits I got! (I’ve missed out the boring stuff like tank tops, hair bobbles etc.)

Rings: £2Earrings: £2.50Bracelet: £3

All of these gems were from Primark. I love going there for accessories because they’re super cheap & I never feel bad if they break/get lost/go out of fashion… they hardly break the bank, so you can always go back for SECONDS!

Wedges: £35 from Oasis (on sale)

I wore these to work today & they are SO comfy! I thought I’d get a tan colour as they’d go with pretty much everything I’d wanna wear them with :)

Zara Shoes: £20 (on sale)

I can’t even begin to explain just how comfortable Zara heels are!! These may look crazy high, but they’re so easy to walk in. I can’t wait to wear them out :)

Primark Top: £8

I’m sure everyone has either seen these tops or owns a few. The material isn’t too great or anything but they’re perfect for summer & to take on your holiday! I got the mustard colour as I don’t really own anything mustardy.

Primark Blouse: £10

I seem to love blouses so I picked this up. But mainly because I love the colour & the buttons on it…

Primark Top: £8

This is a super simple top & I can pretty much get away with wearing it almost everywhere!

Primark Maxi: £5 (on sale)

I couldn’t resist this maxi which was on sale for ONLY £5!! I’m surprised there were loads of these still there – I’m glad there was one in my size though :)

I love the back, how it ties, & also the detail at the front. You can’t really go wrong with £5!

Topshop (Yuki) Top: £27.50 (on sale)

I was only meant to go into Topshop to return a few bits bit ended up coming out with this cute top. I doesn’t look great on the hanger but it looks great on! You could even use it as a cover-up on holiday!

I love the paisley pattern on the front and back. The material as also super light & cooling – I’m so wearing this during the summer!

Primark Denim Jacket: £12

I always get stuck on what to wear on top of maxi dresses but figured I’d get this denim jacket as it will go with all the maxi dresses/skirts I have :)

Primark Palazzo Trousers: £12

I’ve seen these everywhere but didn’t think much of them to be quite honest… then I tried these babies on & ended up getting a pair in white AND black!!

I really like how you can see the shorts underneath! The material is super light, you’d have to be real careful when walking & what not as I reckon it can rip easily.

Topshop Jeans: £15 (on sale)

I basically ordered these online & LOVED them!! So as soon as I saw another pair in the shops, I snapped them up. I’m the kind of girl that when I find a pair of jeans/trousers that fit & look great – I end up living in them. These are basically my ‘BACK-UP PAIR‘.

I especially love the little detail work around the knees & the zips at the bottom of them – they give it that rock-chick edge to them. Also the colour is fab! Not quite seen anything like it before & nor do I own jeans in this colour either.

Jumpsuit: £23

I love playsuits and jumpsuits. I can’t remember the name of the shop but managed to find this there. It’s super sheer so need to figure out what to do about that, other than that it’s the most comfortable jumpsuit I own! I’m gonna wear this with lots of ACCESSORIES to dress it up :)

Topshop Blush in 'Head Over Heels': £6

I couldn’t leave without getting some sort of make-up. Considering the fact that my local Topshop barely do make-up I thought I’d give this a go. The colour was the one that struck me the most.

I’ve started to love liquid & cream blushers recently (& of course I love a bit of coral). It’s super smooth and easy to apply. It’s not creamy or oily on your skin which is what I love about most about this…

Once blended, it’s almost powder like. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this a lot this summer with Hoola as a slight contour.

PHEW, that was a lot of pictures!! I didn’t realise I bought so much stuff until I got into the car… I always say that I’m going on a shopping ban. But quite frankly, I can’t seem to do it so I’m not even going to bother :) What have you bought recently?? Have you hit the sales yet?

P.S – I totally hit 1000 FOLLOWERS!! This is such a mile stone!!! I am actually over the moon :D You’re all such angels – lots of love to you all! I will celebrate by doing a small giveaway very, very soon!

Hen do celebrations!

Hi dolls. Let me just warn you before I go any further… This post is PICTURE HEAVY!! Okay, so LOL, how are you all? I’ve been slacking & also super busy recently – bad times for my blogging time! Also, my wisdom tooth has been a right A-hole but it’s slowly getting better. I can’t wait to be able to eat proper food! So, some of you may or may not know that I went away for a hen do last weekend. It was such a good weekend with lots of laughs, food, drink, dancing & the odd sight seeing in Edinburgh! It was my first time going & wasn’t too sure what to expect. However, it was so nice & we all had a fab time! I thought I’d share some pictures with you all…

We first went up to Manchester to meet up with the Hen’s sister… It was my first time going there too & I absolutely LOVED it – I actually prefer it to London!! It’s so nice & clean, with lots of shopping & with a great atmosphere.

We were only there for one night so we were taken out to dinner at CHAOPHRAYA – if you love Thai food, this is the place to be!

You can sit at special tables like this – AMAZING!

We then headed for some drinks at the Hilton. The bar was called ‘CLOUD 23‘ (it was on the 23rd floor with a breathtaking view!).

If you like pomegranate - order the VERTIGO drink!

We were then off to Edinburgh the next day with a fun-filled weekend with the girls! We had such a great laugh :)

The first night was a Grecian night & this is what I wore…

Dress: ASOS
Headband: Primark
Necklace & Bracelet: Miss Selfridge
Watch: Guess

A quick run down on the FOTN the first night: NARS Sheer Glow Foundation & MAC Face & Body, Collection 2000 concealer, MAC MSF powder, Naked palette on my eyes, Blacktrak fluidline, UD Cannonball mascara, Cha Cha tint on my cheeks, Hoola contour, Cha Cha tint & Vegas Volt on my lips!

We went to see the Edinburgh Castle which was absolutely MASSIVE, smack-bang in the middle of the city centre!! It kinda reminded me of the pyramids in Giza being in the middle of the city!

FOTD: MAC Face & Body, MAC MSF, Garnier Tinted Eye Roll On as a concealer, Blacktrack fluidline, UD Cannonball mascara, Hoola & Posie Tint of my cheeks, Turkish Delight on my lips.

The second night we all went for the colour blocking trend – this looks amazing in pictures! Here’s what I wore…

Top: New Look
Belt: Accessories
Bag: Peacocks
Earrings: H&M
Necklace: Links of London
Bracelet: Oasis

A quick run down on the FOTN the second night: NARS Sheer Glow Foundation & MAC Face & Body, MAC MSF, Garnier Tinted Eye Roll On as a concealer, Vex eye shadow & MAC Blacktrack fluidline as top liner, Electric 24/7 UD eyeliner on lower lash line, UD Cannonball mascara, Cha Cha tint on my cheeks, Hoola contour, Hocus Focus by Soap & Glory as high light, Cha Cha tint, Vegas Volt & Costa Chic on my lips!

This is how I did my hair. I left it curly from the night before & tied it onto a sleek pony tail and wrapped my own hair round the band with my new EAR CUFF I got from ASOS as a hair accessory!

We started the night off at a place called ‘The Dome’ – it was so posh & elegant! They even had a red carpet… We felt like Hollywood stars! Although my wisdom tooth’s antics knocked it up a notch on Sunday afternoon, the whole weekend was great! Now, it’s time for the wedding… I cannot wait!!

What have you all been up to over the past few weeks? I went shopping yesterday & am thinking to do a haul post… I seriously spent too much money though
